Terms of use

Cricket Globe is a free daily game, made for fun. By playing, you agree to these terms. They are short, and written to be read.

Last updated 20 October 2026.

Playing the game

• The daily round, the answer pages and practice are free. There are no prizes, and scores have no cash value.
• We may change the rules, the scoring or the questions, pause a round, or correct a question after it has been played. A corrected question can change past scores.
• We aim to keep the game running every day, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Fair play

The leaderboard only means something if everyone plays straight. Please don't:

• use scripts, bots or automated tools to play or to read questions and answers from our servers;
• create many accounts to retry a round or move up the leaderboard;
• try to get a round's answers before it ends, or break, overload or probe the site.

We may remove scores or block players who do these things.

Accounts

Your progress is tied to an anonymous player ID in your browser, and to your email if you choose to save it. Keep access to that email; it is how you sign back in. How we handle this data is explained in the privacy policy.

Our content and its sources

• The questions, facts, write-ups and design of Cricket Globe are ours. You're welcome to share your results, link to any page and quote short passages with a link back.
• Match data comes from Cricsheet, ground coordinates from Wikidata, and map data from Natural Earth, each under its own licence.
• Cricket Globe is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any cricket board, league, team or player. Names of teams, tournaments and grounds belong to their owners and are used only to describe what happened.

Accuracy

Every question is checked by hand, but mistakes happen. If you spot one, use the report link on your scorecard or write to cricketglobeapp@gmail.com. The facts are given for interest and shouldn't be relied on as an official record.

Liability

The game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from using it, from it being unavailable, or from errors in its content. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to play means you accept it. Questions about these terms go to cricketglobeapp@gmail.com.
